Can a simple ear device calm your nerves before a big speech?
NCT ID NCT07470229
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive ear stimulation device can help people feel less anxious during stressful performance situations. Researchers will randomly assign 200 healthy adults to use either an active or inactive version of the device while preparing a speech or doing a neutral writing task. The goal is to see if the stimulation lowers self-reported anxiety and heart rate compared to the placebo.
