Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, non-invasive ear clip can safely help patients in the ICU who develop sudden, severe confusion known as delirium. The clip sends gentle electrical pulses to a nerve in the ear, which researchers hope might improve brain function. The main goal is to see if using this device is practical and safe for very sick patients, and if it causes any measurable changes in brain activity.
