New device aims to transform ear reconstruction for kids
NCT ID NCT07154667
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to help surgeons rebuild ears for children and young adults with underdeveloped or damaged ears. The device helps shape cartilage more precisely and quickly than traditional hand-carving methods. Researchers will compare the new technique to the standard method to see if it improves appearance, reduces surgery time, and leads to better long-term results.
