Scientists scan ears to unlock pressure mystery

NCT ID NCT07343713

Summary

This study aims to understand if the physical size and angle of the Eustachian tube (the small tube that drains the middle ear) is related to the pressure inside the ear. Researchers will use CT scans to measure these tubes in 50 healthy participants over age 7. The goal is to gather basic knowledge that may help explain why some people develop ear problems later.
