Zapping the ear to zap migraines? new study tests Non-Drug relief

NCT ID NCT07457268

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation applied to the outer ear can help people with frequent migraines. Researchers will compare the real stimulation to a fake 'sham' treatment in 102 adults to see if it reduces headache pain, lessens disability, and improves sleep quality. Participants will receive the 20-minute ear stimulation sessions three times a week for 12 weeks.
