Gentle ear zap tested to sharpen minds and improve sleep in seniors
NCT ID NCT07416708
Summary
This study tested if a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation applied to the ear could help older adults with frailty. Over two weeks, 80 participants either received the real stimulation or a fake version, while all continued their usual rehab therapies. Researchers measured changes in memory, sleep quality, and body inflammation to see if the treatment helped.
