Could a simple ear device help the brain heal after a major bleed?

NCT ID NCT06374693

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive nerve stimulation device placed on the ear is safe and practical for patients who have recently survived a brain bleed from a ruptured aneurysm. The goal is to see if stimulating a specific nerve might help improve blood flow and reduce inflammation in the brain, potentially lowering the risk of further complications. Participants will use the device or a dummy version for 45 minutes, twice a day, for five days while receiving their standard hospital care.
