New patch for a broken eardrum?

NCT ID NCT03904316

Summary

This study aimed to compare two materials used to patch a hole in the eardrum during surgery. It planned to test a lab-made graft (Biodesign) against the patient's own tissue, which is the current standard. The goal was to see which material led to better healing and hearing improvement. However, the trial was withdrawn and did not enroll any participants.
