Ear clip zaps nerves to tame stubborn blood pressure
NCT ID NCT05179343
Summary
This small, completed study tested if a non-invasive ear clip device could help people with uncontrolled high blood pressure. 63 adults whose blood pressure remained high despite taking 1-4 medications used the device daily for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if this gentle nerve stimulation was safe, acceptable to patients, and could help lower blood pressure better than a fake (sham) device.
