NCT ID NCT07419061
First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 99 healthy full-term newborns to count and classify ear shape differences. Doctors took photos and sorted each ear as normal or having an anomaly, then labeled anomalies as either deformities (caused by outside forces like position in the womb) or malformations (caused by underdevelopment). The goal was to better understand how common these differences are and how to identify them.
