Ear seeds tested to ease new Mothers' pain after C-Section
NCT ID NCT07322601
Summary
This study tested whether applying gentle pressure to specific points on the ear (auricular acupressure) could help reduce pain after a cesarean section. Seventy women who had a C-section were randomly assigned to receive either real acupressure with small seeds or a sham treatment with inactive patches. Researchers measured their pain levels and how much standard pain medication they needed over the first two days after surgery.
