Talking therapy may soothe lupus pain

Summary

This study tests if a type of talk therapy called Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) can safely reduce widespread pain in people with lupus. About 30 adults with lupus and fibromyalgia will attend 8 weekly online sessions. Researchers will check if pain and other symptoms improve compared to those who do not receive the therapy.
