Summary
This study tests whether Amicar (ε-aminocaproic acid) can reduce blood loss in children aged 2 to 36 months undergoing surgery for craniosynostosis, a condition where skull bones fuse too early. The goal is to see if the drug decreases the need for blood transfusions during and after the operation. The study involves 22 participants and is in Phase 2.
