New drug duo aims to halt Alzheimer's in its tracks

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug called E2814 to the approved Alzheimer's drug lecanemab can better slow the disease in people with early Alzheimer's. The trial includes 105 participants with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia due to Alzheimer's. Researchers will measure changes in brain proteins and thinking skills over up to 24 months to see if the combination is safe and effective.
