Robot therapist helps women heal emotionally after cancer surgery

Summary
This study is developing and testing a friendly AI robot called E-MOTE to provide emotional support to women who have just had surgery for gynecologic cancer. The robot will assess their distress and offer personalized psychological help. Researchers will measure how well the robot reduces distress and improves quality of life in 130 participants.
