Do scary pictures on vapes help people quit?

NCT ID NCT05714982

Summary

This study tested whether putting warning labels on e-cigarette devices and refills could help people quit vaping. Researchers randomly assigned over 1,300 adult vapers to receive either neutral messages, text warnings, or picture warnings on their vaping supplies. The main goal was to see if these warnings increased people's desire to quit vaping, without accidentally making them switch to smoking regular cigarettes.
