Summary
This study aims to understand the health impact of switching from cigarettes to a specific, standardized e-cigarette. Researchers are measuring levels of nicotine and other chemicals in the bodies of 47 adult smokers before and after they switch. The goal is to gather initial data on exposure and potential biological effects to inform future research on e-cigarettes as a risk reduction tool.
