Summary

This study examined lung cells from 66 smokers to see how switching to e-cigarettes or nicotine replacement therapy changes the lungs. Researchers used a camera tube (bronchoscopy) to collect fluid and cell samples. The goal was to find early signs of cancer risk by measuring inflammation and other markers.
