MRI scans reveal what vaping does to your blood flow

NCT ID NCT05271578

Summary

This study measured how smoking and vaping affect blood vessel function and inflammation. Researchers used MRI scans and blood tests to compare smokers and vapers before and after using tobacco cigarettes, nicotine-free e-cigarettes, and nicotine e-cigarettes. The results were compared against non-smokers to understand the immediate effects of these products on cardiovascular health.
