First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This completed study looked at how certain features in e-cigarette ads—like flavor names, product colors, and images—affect young adults' interest in vaping. Over 3,000 participants aged 18-30 who either smoked cigarettes or didn't use tobacco were shown one of six different ads and then asked about their intentions to use or switch to the e-cigarette. The goal was to identify which ad features have the biggest impact on shaping perceptions and behavior.
