Summary
This pilot study tests whether a short, enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (E-BCBT) can help reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors in 30 hospitalized adults with mood disorders. Participants receive either five therapy sessions during their stay or standard care, then are followed for three months after discharge. The goal is to see if this brief therapy is feasible and effective for suicide prevention.
