First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This early study tests an oral herbal formula called E-B-FAHF-2 in 7 adults with mild-to-moderate Crohn's disease. The main goal is to see if it is safe and tolerable, and to explore whether it can help control inflammation. Researchers also check how the formula affects immune cells and gut tissue. This is a Phase 1 trial, so it is very early and not designed to prove the treatment works.
