First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a new self-administered questionnaire designed to measure shortness of breath and its impact on daily life in people with chronic respiratory diseases like COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, and cystic fibrosis. Researchers enrolled 199 adults to check if the tool is reliable and useful in clinical practice. The goal was to improve how doctors assess breathlessness, not to treat the disease.
