First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a new therapy for stroke survivors who have spatial neglect, a condition where they ignore one side of their world. The therapy uses moving sounds to gently guide their attention to the neglected side. Eighteen adults with stroke will either get standard rehab or standard rehab plus this sound therapy for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure if the sound therapy improves their attention and daily activities.
