New hope for women with low egg count: cheaper drug may work as well as standard treatment

Summary

This study tests whether a cheaper hormone drug (dydrogesterone) works as well as the standard drug (GnRH antagonist) to prevent early ovulation in women with low ovarian reserve who are undergoing two rounds of ovarian stimulation. 120 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs. The main goal is to see which approach lowers medication costs per egg retrieved.
