First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests a new surgical method to prevent thick, painful scars after trigger finger surgery in people who also have Dupuytren's contracture. About 50 adults who need surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard surgery or the new technique. Researchers will compare scarring and hand function over time to see if the new approach leads to better outcomes.
