Summary
This study aims to understand how skin involvement affects outcomes after surgery for Dupuytren's disease, a hand condition causing finger contractures. Researchers will use ultrasound and skin elasticity tests on 50 patients undergoing standard surgery to see if these measurements can predict recurrence risk. The goal is to improve understanding of the disease and potentially help surgeons make better treatment decisions.
