Can kids quit their eczema drug? new trial aims to find out

NCT ID NCT06116526

Summary

This study is testing whether children aged 1-17 who have their atopic dermatitis (eczema) well-controlled with the drug dupilumab can safely reduce their dose or stop taking it altogether. Participants will be randomly assigned to either continue their standard dose, take a lower dose, or stop the medication, and researchers will monitor their skin condition and symptoms. The goal is to see if reducing medication is a feasible long-term option for managing eczema in children.
