Scientists probe mystery rash with common allergy drug

NCT ID NCT06012448

Summary

This small, completed study aimed to understand how a drug called dupilumab works in people with a chronic, unexplained skin rash. Researchers gave 10 participants injections of dupilumab to see how it changed their immune cells and if it reduced the rash and itching. The main goal was to learn more about the biology of the rash, not primarily to prove the drug's effectiveness as a treatment.
