New hope for kids with severe stomach ulcers: antibody drug trial
NCT ID NCT07257835
Summary
This study is looking at whether a drug called dupilumab can help children with severe, hard-to-treat inflammation in their stomach and intestines (eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders). Researchers will give the drug to 20 children who haven't improved with standard treatments and check if it helps heal their ulcers and reduces inflammation. The goal is to find a better option for kids who often face painful ulcers, growth problems, and may even need surgery.
