First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether dupilumab, a drug that blocks type 2 inflammation, can help children and young adults (ages 6-25) with eosinophilic esophagitis safely add back foods like milk, egg, soy, or wheat into their diet. The 21 participants were monitored for changes in esophageal inflammation and symptoms. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce the need for strict food avoidance and improve quality of life.
