New hope for millions: drug trial targets common sinus misery
NCT ID NCT04362501
Summary
This study tested whether the drug dupilumab could help adults with chronic sinusitis who do not have nasal polyps. Thirty-three participants were randomly assigned to receive either dupilumab or a placebo for six months to see if it improved their sinus symptoms and quality of life. The goal was to see if this medication, already used for other conditions, could offer a new treatment option for this common form of sinus disease.
