New injection tested for stubborn sinus condition
NCT ID NCT05049122
Summary
This study tested a medication called dupilumab, given as an injection, in adults with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps that were not well-controlled by their usual treatments. Twenty-five Japanese participants received the injection for up to 52 weeks. The main goal was to see if the treatment safely reduced polyp size and improved symptoms like congestion and loss of smell.
