This study tests whether dupilumab, a drug used for allergies and eczema, can help regrow hair in people with moderate-to-severe alopecia areata who also have allergies or high IgE levels. Participants receive weekly injections of dupilumab or a placebo for 48 weeks, followed by an additional 48 weeks of dupilumab for all.
