First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using special dosing guidelines for people with the Duffy null blood trait can help them avoid treatment delays and dangerous fevers during chemotherapy for multiple myeloma or triple-negative breast cancer. About 90 participants will be enrolled, and researchers will compare their outcomes to those without the trait. The goal is to make standard cancer treatments safer and more effective for this group.
