First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining a gentle brain stimulation technique (tDCS) with training that does two things at once (like walking while counting) can improve movement and thinking in people who had a stroke. Researchers will measure walking speed, mental performance, and brain activity in 72 adults aged 50 and older. The goal is to see if this combo helps the brain work more efficiently during everyday tasks.
