Brain and body workout tested to help people with Alzheimer's
NCT ID NCT05765552
Summary
This study tested whether a special exercise program that combines physical movement with mental tasks could help people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Thirty-four participants were divided into two groups: one did standard exercises, while the other did 'dual-task' exercises that challenged both body and mind. Researchers measured changes in balance, fear of falling, thinking skills, mood, and quality of life after eight weeks of training.
