First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special exercise program that combines physical tasks with mental challenges (dual-task training) improves balance more than standard rehab for people with Parkinson's disease. Sixty participants in early to moderate stages completed 20 sessions over two months. Researchers measured balance, fall risk, daily independence, and quality of life, comparing the dual-task group to a traditional rehab group.
