NCT ID NCT06296082
First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two treatments for leg muscle tightness (spasticity) after a stroke: Botox injections and dry needling. About 90 people who had a first stroke in the past year will be randomly assigned to one session of Botox or 12 weekly dry needling sessions. Researchers will measure muscle reflexes and thickness to see which approach works better.
