Needle therapy put to the test for stubborn frozen shoulder
NCT ID NCT03861923
Summary
This study aimed to see if adding a treatment called dry needling to standard physical therapy exercises helps people with frozen shoulder. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either real dry needling or a fake 'sham' needle treatment alongside their exercises. The goal was to measure changes in shoulder pain, stiffness, and ability to perform daily tasks.
