New eye drop tested for millions with dry, irritated eyes

NCT ID NCT06424444

Summary

This study tested whether a new eye drop called reproxalap could safely reduce the discomfort of dry eye disease. Over 400 adults with dry eye symptoms used either the active eye drops or a placebo (vehicle) solution for six weeks. The main goal was to see if the drops lowered participants' self-reported eye discomfort scores.
