New eye ointment trial offers hope for millions with dry, irritated eyes

Summary
This study is testing whether Vit-A-Vision ointment can safely relieve symptoms of dry eye disease, such as burning, irritation, and tired eyes. About 77 adults with diagnosed dry eye will use the ointment daily for 30 days. Researchers will measure changes in eye comfort, tear film stability, and redness to see if the treatment helps.
