Summary
This pilot study is testing whether injections of a substance made from umbilical cord blood (called CB-PRP) can slow the progression of dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common cause of vision loss in older adults. The study will enroll 36 people aged 65 and older with bilateral dry AMD. One eye will receive the injection, while the other will serve as a control. The main goal is to see if the treatment can stabilize or reduce the growth of damaged areas in the retina.
