Scientists test new Drug's hidden effects on common pills
NCT ID NCT06494761
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how a new cancer drug called zongertinib might affect the way the body processes three other common medications: a sedative, a heartburn drug, and a diabetes medication. It involved 16 healthy male volunteers who took the other drugs alone and then together with zongertinib. The goal was to check for any dangerous interactions before testing zongertinib in cancer patients.
