Scientists test how two drugs interact in healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT06689527

Summary

This study aimed to understand if and how the drug vamorolone changes the way the body processes another drug called midazolam. It involved 18 healthy adults who took both drugs over a two-week period while researchers took frequent blood samples. The main goal was to measure drug levels in the blood to see if vamorolone speeds up the body's breakdown of midazolam, which could affect how well midazolam works.
