Summary
This early-stage trial studied 16 healthy men to see how the antibiotic rifampicin changes the way the body processes a single dose of BI 425809, a drug being developed for cognitive problems. Participants took BI 425809 alone and then again after several days of rifampicin. The study measured drug levels in the blood to understand the interaction, but it was not designed to treat any disease.
