Scientists test new Drug's impact on cholesterol and diabetes meds

NCT ID NCT07222098

Summary

This study aimed to understand how a new drug called calderasib (MK-1084) might change how the body processes two common medications: rosuvastatin (a cholesterol drug) and metformin (a diabetes drug). It involved 16 healthy participants who took the medications with and without calderasib. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood to see if calderasib changed how much of the other drugs stayed in the body.
