Obesity drug interaction study completed in healthy volunteers

This study looked at how two common drugs, rifampin and itraconazole, change the way the body processes a new experimental medicine called VCT220, which is being developed for obesity. Thirty-two healthy adults took part, with each person receiving either rifampin or itraconazole alongside a single dose of VCT220. The goal was to measure drug levels in the blood and check for side effects, helping researchers understand safe dosing for future studies.
