Scientists test new combo pill for cholesterol & blood pressure

NCT ID NCT01764178

Summary

This study aimed to understand how the body processes two common heart medications—one for high cholesterol and one for high blood pressure—when taken as separate pills versus as a single combined pill. It involved 52 healthy male volunteers who received the drugs in different sequences. The main goal was to measure and compare the levels of the drugs in the blood over time to see if the combined pill works similarly to taking the two pills separately.
