Scientists test new Drug's hidden effects on heart, diabetes, and cholesterol pills
NCT ID NCT05064488
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how a new drug called evobrutinib might change the way the body processes four other common medications: digoxin (for heart conditions), metformin (for diabetes), rosuvastatin (for cholesterol), and sumatriptan (for migraines). The study involved 40 healthy volunteers to measure drug levels in the blood and check for safety. The goal was to gather information to help doctors safely prescribe these drugs together in the future.
